JAM #4 & metallic crackle paint

I also received another set of JAM ATCs in the mail today. This is the background that was sent to me.
I have another color of metallic crackle paint I hadn't tried yet. So I cut some butterflies out of cardboard with the Cuttlebug die. I painted the butterflies with the antique bronze crackle paint and let dry.
I used this thin file to remove the excess dried paint off the edges of the butterflies.
I ran the butterflies through this Cuttlebug embossing folder and applied a mixture of two purple Alcohol inks on a felt pad and then to the butterflies.
I placed black Alcohol ink to a makeup applicator and rubbed it over the raised areas on the butterflies and along the edges.
Here's a close up photo showing the colors and the lovely crackle:

I then adhered the butterflies to the ATCs and will send them on their way to another to finish them.

hello Carol,

this metallic crackle paint was one of the things I spend my money on in the artshop... together with the new masks of Tim, the stickles,... so I had to choose at that moment between the Rangerstuff and the cuttlebug..

I just started making Tim's tags and experience with his techniques.
These metallic crackle paints really give great results !

Your butterflies look great !
