Eat Drink and Be Merry ATC

The theme for 9ATC Group is "Eat, Drink & Be Merry". I wanted a sparkly background, so I used two shades of yellow Distress Ink on card stock, sprayed a homemade yellow spray over the background, then sprinkled yellow/gold Perfect Pears overall, then cut into ATC sized pieces.

Stamped "Hip Hip Hooray" and cocktail classes on the background with black India Ink. Used metallic gel pens to color in the glasses, add bubbles and highlight the words and glasses.

Background card

For stamp club we were to make backgrounds. I decided to make a simple, subtle sparkle background. Stamped a flourish image on pink card stock and brushed on a darker pink Perfect Pearl powder over the still wet ink (I used Sparkle Raspberry).

Layered this background onto white card stock. Stamped a saying in the same shade of pink as the paper on white card stock and added it over the background along with a heart cut out of the same background paper and layered on a white paper heart:

Black and White Card

For stamp club, we were to make either mono print or black & white cards. I choose to do black and white. I layered black card stock over a white card and added a black and white print paper on the top and a black with white polka dot ribbon about 3/4 of the way down. Then stamped a sympathy saying in black ink on the bottom and added a black and white die cut butterfly image. I used two similar printed papers to make two different cards:

Shimmer ATC

This month the theme for 9ATC Group is "Shimmer". I started with a Metallic Marker Background. Then embossed a reed image with an embossing folder and colored the raised areas with a green metallic paint, and used the purple metallic paint to color the edges.
Used Fantasy Film to create dragonfly embellishment. Layered 3 pieces of Fantasy film over a rubber stamp that had been inked with purple StazOn ink, then placed parchment paper on top and heated with a hot dry iron. Then cut out the image and curled the ends of the wings up.

Added the dragonfly embellishment to the ATC with small rhinestones for yes, also added some rhinestones to the upper left corner.

Joy ATC

The theme for 9ATC Group is "Joy".  I decided to make a blue torn paper background. Took out a bunch of previously made blue backgrounds to choose from.

Picked 7 different blue backgrounds and tore them into thin strips and adhered them to card stock.
Colored the edges with midnight blue StazOn ink, and also highlighted the raised areas of the embossed paper on the right side.

Used a stencil to create a yellow on yellow swirl design for my sun element.
Adhered the torn sun onto the bottom of the atc and added a butterfly embellishment:

Layers ATC

The theme for 9ATC Group is Layers.
For the background, I started by spraying watercolor paper with a variety of color sprays and let it dry.

Added depth of color by sponging (with a sea sponge) on more colors from the sprays and let it dry.
Sprayed a mixture of water and Perfect Pearls over a spiral mask and pressed it down on the sprayed background.

The sprayed mask left an impression of perfect pearls over the sprayed background.

Used some papers I made earlier using the Gelli Plate:

Also added some decorative fiber, metal floral bits and some beads to finish the ATC:

Watercolor Card

For this month's stamp club, we were to make cards with the theme "Watercolor". I decided to do a variation of the stamped watercolor effects technique. I used a solid floral stamp and colored on the stamp with three colors of Distress Markers (any dye ink markers will work). Instead of spritzing with water, I spritzed the stamp with a Perfect Pearls mist (water and perfect pearls mixed together in a mini mister). Then I pressed the stamp into water color paper and let dry. I layered the stamped watercolor paper onto purple paper and then white card.

Door, Arches, Openings ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Door, Arches, Openings. I decided to make the Starry Sky Background for the inside of my ATC. Started by sponging on different blue and purple Distress inks with a dauber over matte card stock. Make sure the different colors show.
Next, completely cover the  card with black Distress ink and let dry.
Splatter water over the card, let stand for a moment then daub with a paper towel.

Then splatter wet Perfect Pearls over the card and let dry completely. Okay to heat set.

Stamped a saying with VersaMark ink, covered with white embossing powder and het set.

For the cover, stamped a gated door image with black StazOn ink onto brown colored vellum and let dry. Cut in half and trimmed the image.
Attached the vellum to the ATC with gold colored staples and used a gold colored Pearl Pen to add "knobs" to the image.  ATC with the "doors" closed:
