Veggie Print ATC

 The theme for the 9ATC Group is Vegetable or Fruit Print.
I decided to try to make a roller print using corn on the cob. I spread some red and yellow acrylic paint along with some gold Lumiere Paint on a craft sheet. Then rolled a piece of cooked corn on the cob through the paints and then onto card stock.
The paint laid down was very uneven, so I decided to then use the corn on the cob as a "roller" and spread several layers of these paints over the card stock.











I got several backgrounds using this method and let the paints dry thoroughly.

Later, I used a raw piece of corn on the cob and ran it over a black India Ink pad, then rolled it onto the left side of the ATC. I then used this same ink pad to color the edges of the ATC.
I added some orange fibers and ribbon along with a small bird charm to complete the ATC:

Chenille and Flannel Quilt

A warm quilt made out of chenille and flannel. The back is fleece. A warm quilt for a winter baby girl.

Valentine


Simple valentine: embossed top 3/4 of card stock, stamped "i love you" on the bottom and added a small heart shaped button with thin black ribbon. Layered over black card stock onto off white card stock.
