We're doing a Book Study as a group on
NGS, using
Nancy Curry's book "Texture Effects for Rubber Stamping". This is my second attempt at adding texture to a card while repeating the basic design element. I stamped a snowflake flourish stamp several times onto glossy card stock with watermark ink and heat set. Then used a Jumbo Dauber to color with light blue dye ink.
I added a couple more of the flourishes with watermark ink and heat set. Then sponged on a darker blue dye ink.
I stamped the flourish 3 times with the darker blue dye ink and heat set. Then I stamped the flourish twice with watermark ink added clear embossing powder and heat set, to add texture to the card.
This view shows off the clear embossed images better.
I cut a large snowflake out of light blue paper and lightly rubbed on glitter glue to make it sparkle.
I added a silver snowflake embellishment to my paper snowflake, tied on some fibers and added it to my background and layered this onto a white card.
