Rust ATC

On 9atc Group, the theme is "Rust".  I started by adhering torn, old style newsprint paper onto card stock, and glued on mica dust around the edges.
Adhered foil flashing/ventilation tape on card stock and cut into heart shapes. Painted on verdigris Patina paint over the service, let dry. Then ran the hearts through an embossing folder, then patted on rust Patina paint over the raised areas.
Added some decorative feathers and a strip of glittery copper decorative tape. Adhered the painted heart with brads that I pounded and dabbed on some rust Patina paint.

Watercolor Card

For this month's stamp club, we were to make cards with the theme "Watercolor". I decided to do a variation of the stamped watercolor effects technique. I used a solid floral stamp and colored on the stamp with three colors of Distress Markers (any dye ink markers will work). Instead of spritzing with water, I spritzed the stamp with a Perfect Pearls mist (water and perfect pearls mixed together in a mini mister). Then I pressed the stamp into water color paper and let dry. I layered the stamped watercolor paper onto purple paper and then white card.
