
Last year,
Trish sent me a little book of background techniques and this one was in the book.
First, lightly brush gum
arabic across your card and let dry. It should be colorless, but obviously I hadn't cleaned my brush well enough.

Cover the card with a dark color of dye ink, use a baby wipe to wipe the ink off the resist.

I brushed the rest of my gum
arabic solution over an 8" x 11" card stock, let dry, then colored with
StazOn ink:
