M is for Metal & Beading

Took a wonderful class from Beverly Gilbert today. If you ever get an opportunity to take one of her classes do so! She is the most marvellous teacher and gracious person. (And her jewelry is fabulous). I really wasn't into jewelry, but went to the class with Adrienne and I had so much fun! Looking forward to the next class on Friday.
Learned how to cut metal, pound on it and make decorative edging.
Then learned how to fasten anchors and rivet two metal pieces together.
Learned how to do free form beading. Finished one of my pieces and am quite pleased with it:

It's lovely Carol, would love to learn how to do the free form beading. The metal sets it off beautifully.
