ATC based on Tim's June Tag of 2013

June is almost over and I finally have time to try the techniques Tim Holtz shows in his June tag in the 12 Tags of 2013 series. Check out Tim's blog for the fabulous step by step instructions with photos. I made an ATC with these techniques. Stamped a pear image on watercolor paper with black Archival Ink.
Following the instructions on Tim's blog, I colored in the image with Distress Markers and blended the colors with a water pen, then heat set.
Next colored behind words with yellow and created  shadowing pumice stone and created a wash with the water pen, then heat set.
Tore bottom of watercolor paper and colored edges with brushed corduroy Distress Ink and used the water pen to make a wash. The picket fence Distress Marker is used to add light source highlights.
Used water pen to pick up scribbled colors on a craft sheet and flick the colors over the image. I like how this turned out.
For the main ATC, followed the instructions Tim gave for his tag. On a craft sheet press down a Distress Ink pad, on one side run some Distress paint and on the other some Distress Stain. Spritz all with water.
Swipe card through the above, lift to allow colors to blend, spritz with water to blend colors more, heat set. Then dip card back into colors, heat set, repeat as desired. This is a fun technique.
Stamped images on the parts that will show with sepia Archival ink and colored the edges with brushed corduroy Distress Ink.
Used brads to attach the colored water paper on to the background.
