Book Study: Adding Texture over a Design

We're doing a Book Study as a group on NGS, using Nancy Curry's book "Texture Effects for Rubber Stamping". This week we are looking at her cards "Vintage Shoes" & " Summer Floral". In these cards, Nancy adds texture over a design to enhance her composition. She recommends using metallic inks, so they will enhance instead of distracting from the images. Check out her book to see the effects she achieves with a mesh brayer (something I'll keep an eye out for next time I'm shopping).
I started with a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of metallic confetti paper, and stamped on two floral images along with a small saying with dye inks.
I used gold Encore ink to stamp a texture image over all. Nancy is right, using a metallic ink adds a subtle effect that doesn't take anything away from the main images!
I stamped one of the floral outline images I used, onto a brown lined card with gold Encore ink.
Layered the main image onto gold card stock, then pink card stock and then onto the brown card.
