As I was driving home this evening, the skies opened and it began to pour. When I came into the house, the sun started to peek out and I saw this beautiful double rainbow. A good evening to stay inside and work on craft projects.
I love double rainbows. It poured on our April wedding day and scuttled the garden reception we had planned. From the church hall where we ended up setting up tables, there was a lovely view of a rain-soaked meadow. At some point in the afternoon, we realized people were streaming outside. Over the meadow there was clearest double rainbow I'd ever seen. We took it as an auspicious sign!
