I used up odd bits of fabric to make the rainbow colored border around a peacock panel. I lot of the fabrics have gold in them to add to the bright cheery feel.
Sorry, I didn't realize that part of this picture was blurry before giving away this quilt.

"Chartreuse" Color Perception ATC
The color is Chartreuse (yellow/green or green/yellow) in September for the Color Perceptions ATC Swap on the ArtVentures Group. The ATC is to be predominately chartreuse and be how the color chartreuse makes us feel. I find this shade to be "Jarring" for some reason it sets me on edge.
Started with a glitter embossed card stock with an off shade of green and used dtp (direct-to-paper) application of a yellow green shade of dye ink over this card stock.
Tore up different yellow green and green yellow background papers and stamped with different shades of green.

Stamped a women's face in a circle image with black India ink over light yellow green paper and adhered to the card stock.
Colored the edges of of the torn & stamped background papers with crushed olive Distress ink and adhered them over the card stock and onto the stamped face.

Using Scraps in Cards
They needed someone to do the demo at Stamp Club, so I signed up. I decided to get us playing with our paper scraps for some easy cards. I searched on Pintrest for ideas and made some samples to take to club. (I decided to take pictures on black paper for the cards to stand out, but in my rush did not do a good job of cropping the black paper, sorry) It was fun using up scraps, so I made lots of samples!
Another fun idea with paper strips is to use them in a sunburst design. Stamped image on a circle, layered it on blue paper, placed it on the lower corner and cut off the extra edges. Also added "pearls" to the upper right edge.
Next, playing with inches, another fun way to use up paper scraps:
Then placing inches on the diagonal and layering over paper embossed with embossing folders.
This is the same design, but using inchie stamps in the same color of ink over word printed paper. Also adhered them on white paper and layered on a green paper before adding to the card.
Same pattern with black and cream 3/4" scraps

"Bronze" Color Perception ATC
I sprayed some gold colored embossed paper with Bronzite Brass Color Mist and let it dry before cutting it.
Layered this sprayed embossed paper over kraft colored corrugated paper and added dark bronze metallic paper strips. Attached a bronze mini brad to a floral image and adhered 3 bronze colored dragonflies.

Summer ATC
On ArtVentures Group, the theme for ATCs is "Summer". I think of the short time we have for fun in the sun, so we need to "dive in" to enjoy the great weather and play in the sun!
First I used the dtp (direct to paper) application of different shades of yellow Distress Inks to card stock and heat set to stop of blending of colors.
Used some paper that had excess blue paints and inks on it. Then stenciled on different shades of blue Distress Inks over different stencils on different ends of the paper.
Tore the blue paper into strips and added some stamped images with darker blue Distress ink.
Added a vintage image of a swimmer; stamped words with black Archival Ink.
