Cutlery ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Cutlery.

I cut some decorative paper into ATC sized cards. Colored the edges with red Distress ink and also ran the same ink pad sporadically over the surface. Used a dymo label maker and red dymo tape to spell out the words knives out and added to the card. Added two knife charms to the center of the card

Gold Leaf over dry embossing ATC

The theme for 9ATC group is to Revive an Old Technique from our early days of stamping. I choose to use gold leafing in a new to me way, over dry embossing. I cut a sheet of paper made with the Fossil Stone Technique into ATC sized cards, then embossed using an embossing folder. Used a glue pad to apply glue to the raised surfaces. When the glue was tacky, spread a mixture of different colored gold leafing over the glue.

I like how this background turned out

To finish the atc, used a die cut to cut out letters to spell H O P E out of paper previoulsy inked and sprayed and adhered them to the middle of the atc. Attached a small butterfly sticker to the upper left corner.

Watercolor ATC

The theme for 9ATC Group is Watercolor. I stamped a flower image with black Stazon Ink and the stem with green Stazon Ink. The background was colored with blue watercolors, the flower petals were colored with red watercolors and then a purplish Twinkling H2Os for highlights. The gold center and highlights were also Twinkling H2Os. Added a black strip of Washi tape to the bottom of the atc. Punced out two dragonfly images from previously inked book pages, and colored the body and head with black marker.

Love ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Love. I started by gathering prevously made decorative papers, The ones that had not yet had raised metallic elements, I ran through decorative embossing folders, then covered the raised areas with metallic inks. Tore the 7 different colored papers into 1/2" strips and layered them on a blank atc card.

Inked the edges of the card with gold metallic ink. Drew a heart shape on another sheet of previously made background paper, cut out the heart and adhered it to the card. Added 3 gold dots from a gold pearl pen onto the upper left of the heart. Used an alphabet die cut to cut out the letters to spell L O V E from gold metallic paper and adhered them to the atc below the heart.

J is for ... ATC

J is for... is the theme for the 9ATC Group, I choose JOY!

Stamped the snowman image and the word 'joy' with black ink onto card stock that had been colored with blue dye ink. Used silver StazOn ink to stamp on swirl images along the side. Snowman's heart was colored with a silver ink pen, and his hat was colores with a blue dye ink pen. Punched out a snowflake from silver colored card stoack. Layered all this onto silver colored card stock.

Make your own buttons ATC

Make Your Own Buttons and use them on an ATC is the theme for the 9ATC Group.

The button was made by punching out a circle from a thin blue metal sheet, then running it through an embossing folder, then punching out 2 holes with an awl. Background is white shiny cardstock run through the same embossing folder and adhered to gold colored card stock. Stamped a flower image on yellow card stock, cut it out and added the "button". Stamped the word "inspire" with black ink onto the white shiny card stock and layer it onto blue cardstock.

Festive Season ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is The Festive Season

Stamped fir tree branches in green ink onto green card stock and colored in the berries with red glitter ink. Stamped an ornament image with red ink, cut it out and added it to the atc with a gold colored star and red "pearl" as the ornament topper. Added small silver colored stars to two of the corners.

Wings ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Wings

I choose some pink background paper to cut into atc sized cards and stamped some French script with sepia Archival ink over the surface and used the same ink to color the edges of the card

Used two butterfly dies to cut out the shapes from some previously made decorative papers and used a silver metallic ink to add a reverse script over the butterflies. Then used some previously inked text papers to cut out wing shapes, tore one edge and added to one side of each butterfly.

Used a pearl pen to color in a body to the the butterflies between the wings. Adhered the butterflies to the background paper, then used the same pearl pen to add dots to the card.

Crown ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Crown

Made the heart by using a die cut to red card stock, inked an embosing folder with black ink, placing the heart in the middle of the folder and then embossed using a Cuttlebug machine

Made the background by running black card stock through an embossing folder in a Cuttlebug machine, then sanding the raised design to expose the white center

Finished the ATC by attaching the heart to the background with a brad which had been hammered, adding a cut out crown from a background paper, then using a dyno maker with black tape to add the word "Tarnished" to the ATC, and layered onto red cardstock

Art Nouveau ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Art Nouveau. I rubbed a light blue dye ink over card stock and let dry (DTP or direct-to-paper). Cut out into 2-/1/2" x 3-1/2" (atc sized) and into 2" x 3" pieces. On both I stamped a flourish image with peacock feathers Distress Ink and let dry. Layered the smaller piece onto a slightly larger copper paper and then onto the bigger piece. Cut out a woman's image from background paper and a pink lily decorative sticker and adhered them to the smaller paper.

Stitches ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is stitching, I stitched black thread on white paper flowers and added a pink french knot in the center. 3 of these flowers were layered on to pink lace. The lace was adhered to the side of a decorative paper that I had cut out a rectangle and placed a stamp image of a woman's face behind the rectangle.

Up Up and Away ATC

The Theme for the 9ATC Group is Up Up and Away. Stamped a balloon string onto decorative background paper along wiht the words "hope" and "dream", to which I added a handwritten "s" at the end of both words. Layered this onto dark green dotted paper (also punched out three small circles of this same paper. Cut a fairy image into a ballon shape and inked the edges with black ink, added on of the small green circles to the bottom of the balloon and adhered to the top of the balloon string. Adhered two small green circles near the top of the ATC. Cut a different fairy image and adhered it to the bottom of the balloon string.

Dress/Fashion ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Dress/Fashion. Stamped a dress form image with Sepia Archival Ink onto pink background paper. Layered with pink metallic honeycomb ribbon and ruler image washi tape. Added a vintage button and 3 faux pearls.

Art Deco ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Art Deco. To creat the background, I inked a decorative embossing folder inside one side with black Distress ink, then embossed gold paper.

I then stmped a face imgae with Gold metallic StazOn ink on off white card stock and cut it out. Colored in the lips with red ink. Also inked the edges of the cirdle with black ink and adhered it to the decorative background.

Collage and A Quote ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Collage and a quoate. I tore several previously made papers for the background.Then used a mix of cut decorative paper, washi tape, map sticker and paper flower for the main image. Stamped and cut our a quote to complete the atc.

Unused Stamp ATC

The theme for 9ATC Group is including a stamped image from a stamp we own that we have never use. I had this "stamp" image I had never used. Stamped with black StazOn in and cut it out. Added a metallic bamboo sticker, then layered it on butterfly papper with a gold ribbon.

Black White and Gold ATC

The theme for 9ATC Group is Black White and one other color. Choose gold for my color. Stamped a text onto white card stock with black Distress Ink and let dry. Rubbed gold Encore Ink along the edges and layered onto black card stock. Uses a die to cut our a bird image, then used an embossing folder to emboss a design onto the bird. Added a mini gold star brad as the bird's eye.

 

Texture Paste ATC

The theme for 9ATC Group is Texture Paste:

 

We were to use any type of Texture Paste, I had Fiber Paste.

Started my backgrounds by sponging on a blue Distress Oxide ink, heat set it then sponged on a green Distress Oxide ink over a burlap stencil, the heat dried.

Next, stamped a French text with sepia Archival ink over the background.

Used a purple Distress Oxide ink over a floral stencil on the right side of the ATC. Also colored the right half of the top and bottom edges along with the right edge of the atc with the same purple ink.

Used Fiber Paste over a dragonfly stencil, applying the paste thickly, then allowed it to dry.

Colored the dragonflies with Twinkling H2Os  to finish the ATC.

Sport ATC

 The theme for the 9ATC Group is Sport. I stamped a rabbit image with black StazOn Ink and cut it out and then glued to diamond playing card. Also added some metal embellishments.
