I'm participating in the 25th Challenge from Tim Holtz's book "Compendium of Curiosities 2" on Linda's blog. This week the technique is Ink Palette: Perfect Pearls on pg. 53 of Tim's book. One lucky participant will win a $25 gift certificate from Simon Says Stamp.
I followed the instructions in Tim's book to make this butterfly embellishment after using a die cut to cut out the butterfly shape. I love the shimmer of this technique. So fun!
Used a previous made ATC background of making a specialty gel (with coffee grounds) over a rock candy distress stickle collage background. I used wet turquoise Perfect Pearls over the coffee grounds to add some color. And a turquoise metallic Gelly Roll pen to add a small border around the edge.Added the Ink Palette: Perfect Pearls Butterfly embellishment and three word puffy stickers. Layered all this over a lavender glitter paper to add a small edge of color.
