Q is for Quilting Paper

Q is for Quilting Paper. This is a great technique for using up scraps of special papers.

I choose a variety of previously made background papers.

Cut out the different papers and arranged on a piece of interfacing in a design. Taped the pieces with a small bit of double stick tape in the center of each piece. Try not to have adhesive where the needle will go through the paper (don't want the adhesive to gum up in the sewing machine).

 Used variegated yellow thread and a zig zag stitch on my sewing machine to quilt the paper pieces together.
