ATC Inspired by Tim's April 2012 Tag

Tim Holtz demonstrated several fun techniques in his April 2012 Tag. I've used some of them on my ATC.
I had to make some adjustments going from tag size to the small ATC size. I used the smaller branch and bird in the movers & shakers dies to cut out the grunge board.
Colored the branch and bird legs with vintage photo Distress Ink, coated with walnut stain Distress embossing powder (after shaking the jar) and heat set. Rubbed off the release crystals once the Distress embossing powder had cooled.
Colored the bird with honey, stormy sky and gathered twigs Distress Inks.
I love the cool frame embossing folder Tim used on his tag (I do have it), but it was too large for the ATC (hmm, need to see if Tim has an ATC sized embossing folder of this frame......) I used an embossing folder with mini birds and branches instead. Stamped a reflections stamp with black Archival ink on to the front (or recessed) side of the embossing folder, placed the ATC inside and ran through my Vagabond. (The ink cleaned of the embossing folder with a diluted soln. of Simple Green)
It is hard to see with this thin image, but the stamped text shows up on the background, and not on the raised areas, cool!
Colored the ATC with various colors of Distress Inks and a blending tool.
Sprayed water over the left over inks on the craft sheet.
Pressed the ATC into the sprayed area above to mottle the colors a bit and then heat set.
Roughed up the edges with a distress tool.
Used Glossy Accents to attach the grunge board chaps, a cut metal flower as an embellishment to the bird, a small metal flower to the branch. Used wonder tape to attach printed ribbon.
Fun! Fun! Fun! See Tim's blog for his gorgeous tag with lots more details on how to use these techniques.
