K is for Kosher Salt. I received a beautiful ATC from Maggi using this technique. She included the instructions on the back. I loved the look and decided to play.

Use watercolor sprays over glossy paper (I used home made sprays with re-inkers and water).

 While spray is still wet, sprinkle kosher salt over the surface and leave until the spray dries.

When dry, wipe off the salt.

 I also tried this technique with Adirondak Color Wash spray over glossy card stock and sprinkled with kosher salt.

I think the resist is much sharper with the watercolor sprays than with acrylic paints.
