ATC Inspired by Tim's 2010 Day 12 Tag

This ATC uses one of the techniques Tim Holtz demonstrates in his 2010 Day 12 Tag (12 Tags of Christmas).
Started by cutting out an oval to fit one of Tim's word dies. Applied blue Distress Ink to grunge board by direct-to-paper application. Then poured some rock candy Distress crackle paint on to the inked grunge board, and spread with a separate paint brush (so you don't contaminate the jar of crackle paint with the inked paint brush). The clear crackle paint mixes with distress ink to create a colored crackle paint. Let dry.
 Looks good.
Used die cut machine and word die to cut out this piece. Darkened the surface and colored the edges with walnut stain Distress Ink.
Choose a piece of map scrapbook paper and colored it with various Distress Ink Colors. Used a distress tool to roughen up the edges and colored with walnut stain Distress Ink.
Colored two metal corner pieces and an air dry clay dove with gold metallic rub-ons.
 Attached all to ATC back.
