Large Print Quilts

I was given some large print floral fabrics to play with. These are for Comfort Quilters.

I really like the way you used the big prints, especially the blue and yellow floral. I am struggling to figure out what to do with a busy bunny print my daughter selected and I may use your ideas!

Very Nice. I really like the blue and yellow floral. My daughter selected a really busy print with bunnies..I may use your ideas for her quilt.

Did you "fussy cut" the florals at all? I cannot get over how complicated the end result looks when it looks like the pattern is really just two different blocks. You really inspired me. Thank you! Done gushing now, off to sew.

I may have fussy cut the florals, it been a while and I don't remember. This is a large square alternated with a square of 3 rectangles, like a rail fence. So quick and easy. Good luck with your daughter's quilt!

I found pictures of these quilts on Pinterest and really liked them. The pattern seemed perfect for some fabric I wanted to use. There's a picture of the quilt I made here: http://dietingononeleg.blogspot.com/2013/11/a-quilt-finish.html
Thanks for sharing the pattern!

Hi what pretty quilts using the larger prints, Is there a pet tern I can purchased for these quilts? I have some very large flowering fabrics that could be used for a beautiful quilt. Could you pass the information on as to where I can find the fabric requirements? Thanks

Roey, I did not have a pattern. The main part of the quilt is one large square alternating with 3 rectangles of fabric, like in a rail fence. I made up the pattern depending on what fabrics were available at our Comfort Quilters Group. It was a while ago and I don't remember what size they ended up being. They were very easy and quick to make. I hope you can come up with a design by looking at them.
