I'm in a swap where the theme is Dream Destination. I'm dreaming of an African Adventure. Started with an old map of South East Africa. Inked it up with Pumice Stone Distress ink, spritzed it with water and patted with a paper towel.
Cut the map into small circles, stamped on a zebra image with brown Distress Ink and placed a round "pebble" on top. Cut out map images for the backgrounds and stamped on words with brown Distress ink and a bird and snake image with blue Distress Ink.
Inked the edges with blue Distress Ink, then inked on clear embossing ink beyond the blue inked area, then added clear embossing powder and heat set.
Rubbed brown Distress Ink over the embossing ink and a bit beyond. Rubbed antique linen Distress Ink over the surface.
Inked the edges with brown Distress Ink and re heated with the heat gun. Attached the "pebble" with the zebra image and added a metal embellishment.
