I wanted a dark background to set off the light angel image I picked. I went for a resist technique using a metallic Lumiere paint with my favorite flourish stamp.
I mixed two different blue sprays and quickly wiped them with a baby wipe, to blend the colors a bit and get the spray off the stamped flourishes.
To darken the edges and give a little granular tone, I sprayed walnut ink around the edges and some in the middle. I stamped some leaves and edged the paper with Brilliance ink.
I printed a quote over this angel statue image, cut it out and adhered it to the back page.
