This is the 4th Background Noise Challenge from Trish B. Check out her blog to see some great examples. I decided to make two different styles of papers as background. One using a color scheme of blue map and aged papers with a little gold paper thrown in and painted gesso over it to let dry.
For the second set, I used a variety of papers and painted gesso over them.I then cut these sheets down into 4" x 6" pieces and colored them. The one on the left was sprayed with a mist of brushed corduroy reinker and kiwi perfect pearls. The one on the right had tea dye Distress ink pad rubbed over it.
The one on the left was sprayed with a mist of faded jeans distress ink and turquoise perfect pearls. The one on the right had Indian Corn Blue dye ink run over it.
The one on the left was sprayed on with a mist of mulled lavender distress ink and violet perfect pearls. The one on the right had Chocolate dye ink rubbed over it, then was brushed over with watered down turquoise and violet perfect pearls.
The one on the left was sprayed with blue ink, and the one on the right with purple ink.
The one on the left was sprayed on with both blue ink and purple ink. The one on the right was sprayed on with a mist of faded denim distress ink and turquoise perfect pearls. The one on the left was sprayed on with red ink and perfect pearls. The one on the right with orange ink and perfect pearls.
