F is for Faux Marble

This is another technique from an older Technique Junkies Newsletter. I have modified it a bit.
Wad up a piece of wax paper and use it to pick up color from a light dye ink, (I used gray) then randomly use this wax paper to ink a piece of card stock.
Wad up another piece of wax paper and use it to pick up ink in a darker dye ink color (I choose a blue) and then use it to randomly ink over the same piece of card stock.
You can stop at this stage or add veining.
Tear some paper to have an irregular edge and place it over the card. Use an applicator to lightly add dye ink along this irregular edge (I used the same gray as above). Continue to add veining as desired.
