Book Study - Frosted Embossing

On NGS group we are studying Julia Andrus' book "Paper Transformed", this week: "Frosted Embossing". Julia says that because embossing powders (ep) are low-melt resins, Perfect Pearls, which have a built in resin, are attracted to the eps and will bond to most warm eps.
I stamped an image on dark paper with embossing ink and covered with detailed clear ep.
Heated the ep, while it was still warm, brushed on Perfect Pearls. This didn't look much different than ep over VersaMark ink to me.
So I stamped a thicker image on dark paper and used regular clear ep (has a thicker particles).
Heated the ep and brushed on Perfect Pearls while the ep was still warm. This looks more like the sample in Julia's book.

Will be giving this a try. Love the butterfly you used for this technique and can't wait to see what you will attach it to.
