Jackie's month to receive Mini Memories on the DCI group is coming up. She picked the theme of "Vintage" and the color scheme of earth colors. I started with the
textured canvas I created earlier and changed the color by spraying on a homemade mixture of Butterscotch Adirondack color wash, water and perfect pearls.
Used the same spray to color a sheet of vintage looking newsprint, then wrinkled it, opened and dried this paper then ran vintage paper Distress ink over the raised areas. Chose a vintage image and gave it a worn aged look by running tea dye Distress Ink pad over it.
Used matte gel medium to adhere the newsprint to the canvas and to add texture to the image. Added white rub-on words and corners to the image and layered the image to a textured white card stock.
Adhered the image to the canvas and added a combination of white paper flowers, bronze metal flowers and white and bronze brads.
