Gray Color Perceptions ATC

This month on the ArtVentures Group, the color is Gray in the Color Perceptions ATC Swap. We are to make an ATC that is predominately Gray, and the theme is how Gray makes us feel. I live in the Pacific Northwest where we have plenty of Gray days, which to me is a cloudy and rainy winter day. I often feel alone on these Gray days. And alone isn't  always a bad thing. Time for contemplation and reflection.
I started with a light gray card stock, stamped a bare tree image with iced spruce Distress Ink, embossed it with clear embossing power and heat set.

Next, colored the tree with two shades of gray Distress Markers.
Stamped rain image with gray dye ink and filled in the drops with frosted lace stickers and let dry.
Added a bird image and colored with the same two gray shades of Distress Markers. Used a dark gray ink to color the edges of the ATC. Tore some textured gray paper, inked the upper edges with gray ink and adhered to the bottom of the ATC and stamped the letters A L O N E on this paper with dark gray ink.
