Scrap Paper Strip Cards

My turn to do a card demo at stamp club. I decided to show a variety of cards using leftover strips of pretty background papers.

The first two cards, I adhered strips of left over background paper over a piece of 3-3/4" x 5" paper. These strips were 3/4"-1/2"-1/4". Layered this onto a white card. One the first one, Stamped Happy Birthday on a piece of white card stock and then layered onto the red left over paper.
On the second card, I cut out a star, candle, and words from a die cut and layered onto the scrap background, then onto black, then white card stock.
For the third card, stamped Happy Birthday diagonally onto a piece of white card stock, then added strips of coordinating left over background papers, leaving some room between the strips. Layered this onto black, then orange card stock.
For the forth card, layered 3 strips of leftover background paper across a piece of white paper. Punched out some matching paper flowers and added a small black paper flower with a rhinestone center. Stamped a saying in black under the stripe. Then layered onto black then white card stock.
For the fifth card, embossed a tan piece of card stock with a small dot pattern on the top 2/3 of the card stock. Stamped Happy Birthday on the bottom and added some leftover background papers. This was then layered onto black, then tan card stock.
For the last card, embossed white card stock with a flourish embossing folder, then added five strips of coordinating leftover background paper on the diagonal . Stamped a cupcake and a small happy birthday on the papers. Layered this onto a purple card.
