Croquet - the sport of queens

 The theme for the 9ATC Group is Sport. I stamped a rabbit image with black StazOn Ink and cut it out and then glued to diamond playing card. Also added some metal embellishments.

Lace ATC

 The theme for the 9ATC Group is Lace. I adhered some lace over card stock. Added a lace ribbon, lace leaves, then a paper flower and a rhinestone (that is clear).

Sunrise Sunset ATC

The theme for 9 ATC Group is Sunrise/Sunset. I bartered this ink over card stock.

Rubbed the yellow Distress Oxide over the bottom and heat set. Then layered more of the inks over the card, off setting the cars.

Stamped a sun image on the bottom of the card with the same yellow Distress Ink, heat set and then painted yellow Twinkling H2Os and let dry.

Rubbed yellow Distress Ink over card stock and heat set. Picked up the same Kaleidacolor Ink over a sun image stamp and stamped onto the yellow inked card stock. Then colored in the sun with the yellow Twinkling H2Os and let dry.

Layered the smaller card onto the larger one to complete the card.

 

Teabag Paper ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Tea Bag Paper. After the used tea bags had dried, I emptied the contents and cut open the bags. Sprayed the paper with a gold spritz mixed with yellow dye ink and let it dry.

Then sprayed the other end with a red spray I found already mixed in my supplies and let that dry.

Stamped a large "B" stamp with black StazOn ink and let it dry.

Glued part of a  dictionary page to card stock and then glued the stamped teabag paper on top with clear glue. Stamped a caterpillar image with black StazOn ink and after it dried, colored over with silver metallic ink. also added some silver dots above the word BREATHE. Then added vellum wings to the butterfly.

Make your own Washi Tape ATC

The theme for 9ATC Group is to Make your own Washi Tape (directions below). My homemade Washi tape is the strip in the middle. For the ATC, I adhered the homemade tape with two strips of black decorative washi tape on each side onto some decorative background paper. Added decorative stickers and adhered a charm with black thread. This was layered onto black card stock.

To make the Washi tape, I pressed it onto a book page and pressed down before lifting it off the page.

Next, wiped the top of the masking tape with a baby wipe to ready the surface for stamping.

Used black StazOn ink with a collage type stamp on the masking tape and let it dry.

 

Grid or Squares ATC

 The theme for the 9ATC Group is Grid or Squares.

I cut 1" squares out of background paper. Stamped butterflies on 3 of the squares and added paper butterflies with words stamped on them to the other 3 squares. Adhered the squares to brown car stock that had French script stamped onto it with dark brown dye ink. Added 3 square blue brads.

Adventure ATC

The theme for 9ATC Group is Adventure. I stamped black glossy card stock with a variegated circles using silver StazOn ink for the background. Stamped a moon image with the silver StazOn ink on another piece of black glossy card stock and cut it out to adhere on to the background. Stamped and colored an image of a girl on white card stock, cut it out and added it to the ATC, along with some small butterflies made by punching them our of some old background paper.

 

Transparency ATC

The theme for the 9 ATC Group is Transparency. I stamped a cut transparency sheet with a background stamp using Azure StazOn ink. Placed an extra transparency sheet behind it for stability and taped the edges with decorative washi tape. Used a die cut to cut a butterfly sheet out of a transparency sheet, the ran the butterfly through two different embossing folders that had been inked with black stain ink. Taped the butterfly to the ATC, added the same washi tape to the body of the butterfly and added a clear black rhinestone. View of the ATC held against the sky outside:

Under the Sea ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Under the Sea. I inked some card stock with tumbled glass Distress Ink and broken china Distress Oxide and heat set. Then stamped wavy lines with "bubbles" with peacock feathers Distress Ink and heat set.

Hand drew some tentacles and wrote "deep dark dangerous" and "mysterious creatures" with a thin black sharpie. Colored in the tentacles with dye ink marker.

Covered the ATC with a net fabric with silver glitter circles to finish the ATC.

 

Stencil ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Stencils

I cut a worksheet into ATC sized pieces

Used a striped stencil over the background and applied a white Distress Paint and let it dry.

Placed a dotted stencil over the background and applied a bronze Distress Paint and let it dry. Then inked the edges with walnut stain Distress ink.

Cut out heart shapes of some old background, placed a burlap stencil and applied walnut stain Distress Ink.

Stamped a flourish with black StazOn ink then inked the edges with a dark brown memento ink.

Used a die to cut out key holes from textured black card stock and keys from bronze colored card stock. Inked the key holes with bronze Encore! ink. Placed the keys in an embossing folder to create texture then inked with the walnut stain Distress ink.

Used two different wash tapes over the top and bottom of the ATC before adhering  the heart, key and keyhole elements.

Gelli Print Background ATC

The theme for the 9ATC Group is Gelli Print Backgrounds. I made several gelli print backgrounds and used two sheets to be each side of the ATC. Stamped 3 words in the bottom left corner. Taped a black and white ribbon down the center. Used two other gelli print backgrounds to cut out some flower shapes. Cut and textured a large black and gray paper flower shape, layered them and attached with a black mini brad

Making the gelli print backgrounds. Brayered white and pink acrylic paint over a 6" square gelli plate, then pressed a decorative scrap over the top several times.

Pressed the 2 sheet of paper over the gelli plate to pick up the paint, then cleaned the plate.

Brayered white and yellow acrylic paints over the gelli plate, 

Then used a decorative edged ruler to create a design in the paint.

Pressed each of the above pink sheets into the gelli plate to pick up the yellow paint and then cleaned the plate.

Brayered blue acrylic paint over the gelli plate, then pressed a sheet of bubble wrap into the paint.

How the gelli plate appeared.

 I pressed a sheet of paper that had picked up some of the extra pink paint off the gelli plate before cleaning and ran the brayer already covered in yellow paint into  the blue covered gelli plate here for this result: 

Pressed the bubble wrap over the darker of the two pink/yellow sheets,

how it turned out.

Re brayerd the blue paint on the gelli plate, layer down a swirl stencil and pressed down the lighter pink/yellow sheet over the stencil covered gelli plate, and cleaned the plate.

Modified a jelly roll pattern

One Letter,Number, Color, and Image ATC

 The theme for 9 ATC Group was to choose One letter that was used for one number, one color and one image. I came up with S for Six Silver Sandpipers.

Used a die cut for the "6" cut out of flashing tape, and layered a variety of silver colored papers/card stock, and stamped an image of 6 sandpipers with silver metallic ink.
