This month for stamp club, we were to make a card (or other project) with the theme of Glitter/Glamour-Shine/Shimmer. I used shimmery card stocks for my card. Started with a red shimmery card base and layered on light pink shimmer card stock over plain black paper, then topped with a pink floral shimmer card stock (used black India ink to color the edges) and added shiny red rhinestones. Stamped sentiment with black India Ink.

Seven Altered Playing Card
We are doing an Altered Playing Card (APC) Swap on ArtVentures Group. The theme is Numbers, for September it is the Number Seven.
First, coated the playing card with Gesso and let it dry. Then covered the surface with a purple Distress Paint and let dry.
Then, covered the surface with a purple Distress Stain.
While the Distress Stain was still wet, added on Interference Violet Perfect Pearls and let it dry.

Stamped circle of "sevens" and 7 with black India Ink, then stamped a map portion with a purple dye ink and cut out. Wrote "Wonders of the world" on card stock and cut out and added to the APC. Punched a decorative purple card stock with a heart shaped punch. Used a white Gel pen to add a white border to the hearts. Then wrote out each of the 7 Wonders out on the hearts and added to the APC.
