Card using Distress Inks and Distress Oxides

 Needed to make cards using Distress inks and/or Distress Oxides. I bought a jar of Distress micro glaze and thought I would give it a try.
Dabbed squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide on craft sheet, spritzed with water and lay the card stock on it, then heat dried. Repaeted with the fossilized amber Distress Oxide and heat dried.
 Stamped a large saying and a butterfly image with black StaZon ink and heat set. Then rubbed some Distress micro glaze over the butterfly and gently buffed off the extra. Lay a rayed stencil over the card and used a sponge to apply the Distress micro glaze over the open areas on the stencil. Removed the stencil and gently buffed off the extra.
 Used foam applicator to add three colors of Distress Inks over the entire card surface.














Layered the card onto dark purple paper and then onto a white card:
