Traditional Card

For Stamp Club, we were given 3 sheets of 12" x 12" background papers and were challenged to make 12 cards. I used shiny off white card stock for the base. Cut the tree patterned paper into 1-1/2" squares and the gray textured paper into 1-3/4" squares. The Blue patterned paper was cut into 2-1/4" x 5-1/2" strips. Too late, I realized I should have cut the blue paper into 2" x 5-1/2" strips as I ended up with only 10 blue strips (so 2 of the cards have a green textured paper from my stash for the the long strip instead of the blue). I was almost successful in this challenge.
I stamped a "Wishing you…" on the outside and "A very special day" on the inside of the card. Then added 3 blue "pearls" to the bottom of the card.
