Page for Lynn's Round Robin Journal

This week, I received Lynn's Round Robin Journal in the mail from the Kindred Souls Art Group. Her theme is Vintage Paris White/Ivory.
Lynn provided thick cardboard pages she had painted white. For the front, I started with a French themed printed fabric (thanks Margaret!). I embossed an image of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower with white embossing powder on a paper printed in french, sewed these on the main fabric and added some lace. Sewed on a vintage image that was printed on a transparency sheet (again Thank you Margaret) along with more lace. Made a large lace & paper flower with some sparkly beads. Colored in one of the printed images on the fabric with white Enamel Accents (it really wanted to soak into the fabric) Also added a metal number plate with silver brads, a large decorative silver brad and some small beads. Frayed the edges of the fabric and adhered it to the cardboard with red liner tape.
The backs are to be simply decorated with our "information". Adhered some decorative paper to the cardboard with matte gel medium, wrinkling up some of the paper. Added two strips of Paris theme tape. Roughly sanded the edges and colored with antique linen Distress Ink to give the page an aged look. Found a Paris looking "postcard" to add to the page, it is covered in clear glitter. Used a white gel pen to add my "info". I like how the frayed from the fabric on the front shows on the back, along with some of the lace.
