"S" Technique ATC

I'm using the Scribbled Stain Distress (variation) backgrounds I made yesterday. I was surprised how much the color soaked in and that they appear so much lighter. Wondering if it's the card stock I used, or that I used Distress Stains instead of Distress Ink Pads for the first step? I still like them for my backgrounds.

 Used Silver StazOn Metallic ink to stamp on a large flourish and small stars.

 Added a Starlet vintage image. Stamped a saying with midnight blue StazOn ink.

 Colored the stars in the hair of the image with a silver metallic pen and added rhinestones to those star centers.
