ATC based on Tim's August 2012 Tag

I made an ATC based on the techniques Tim Holtz used in his August 2012 Tag.  I don't have an oval frame stamp to fit in an ATC with a matching frame embossing folder, or any silhouette stamps, so I decided to see what give a similar look. Stamped a square frame on point on a manila tag with black soot Distress Ink, covered with black embossing powder and heat set.
I choose a square frame on point so I could use a regular embossing folder to more easily emboss the areas outside of the frame. Placed on corner in the embossing folder and ran through the Cuttlebug.
Choose another part of the embossing folder to emboss another corner. To fit through my machine, I folded one corner of the tag up and over the embossing folder (this piece will get  embossed later).
Choose another part of the folder to do the third corner, note how I move the embossing folder to the far side to keep the card on the platform.
Choose another part of the embossing folder to emboss the final corner (the one that had been folded up earlier).
I like how this turned out.
Used felt pad on applicator to pick up pick sherbet Acrylic Paint to dab over the raised dry embossed areas.
Used a corner rounder to cut the corners, and an applicator to apply a variety of brown Distress Inks over the tag.
Used slightly damp paper towel to remove the Distress Ink off the acrylic paint. Used a distressing tool to rough up the edges of the card.
Made an antique rose and petals similar to the technique Tim shows on the video on his blog post and adhered to the bottom of the card. Sprayed antique gold Perfect Pearls mist over the card & flower (I was a bit "heavy handed" with the spray). Cut out the center of the frame area and added a vintage image. Added a "timeless" sticker to the top and a small metal key charm. Like the look of these techniques.
