Row Houses for Swap

I signed up for a Row Houses Swap in the Mixed Media Misfits group. We need to make a set of 3 row houses to send out to one person.
Because the row houses go to one person, I wanted them to look good together, while being able to stand alone. Started with a work sheet that had collected inks, paint and gesso over time.
Cut out three pieces to cover the row houses.
For one, I inked one side of a Cuttlebug embossing folder with blue Distress Ink and ran the paper through the Cuttlebug.
Then colored the raised areas with gold Encore! ink.
Adhered to a house shaped piece of cardboard and trimmed the edges. Colored the edges of the house with walnut stain Distress Ink. Added copper German scrap to the roof. Colored the metal rim of a "jeweled" brad with a copper metallic pen and added to the house. Found some scrap decorative paper that had been then left over part of an On the Edge decorative die. Colored the edges with walnut stain Distress Ink and attached to the bottom of the house.
Attached a vintage image with butterfly wing image to the house. Cut out words from a dictionary and colored with antique linen Distress Ink. One house done.
Ran another piece of the worksheet through a Tim Holtz embossing folder (without inking) through the Cuttlebug and colored the raised areas with gold Encore! Ink.
Adhered to a house shaped piece of cardboard, trimmed the edges. First colored the edges with walnut stain Distress Ink. The colored edges of roof with StazOn Copper ink and used baby blue Stickles over the embossed bird images in the roof.
Added copper German scrap to the bottom of the house, then used a copper metallic pen to the roof edge (also used to color the metal edges of the "jeweled" brads). Cut out words from dictionary and colored with antique linen Distress Ink. Added a vintage image and added some baby blue Stickles to dots on the fairy wings. Another house done.
Adhered another piece of worksheet to another house shape cut out of cardboard and trimmed the edges. Colored the edges with walnut stain Distress Ink. Stamped flourishes along the house edges with Copper StazOn Metallic Ink and outlined with white pen.
Cut out gold paper with decorative die cut and glued to the roof. Outlined with copper metallic pen and added pink & yellow mini rhinestones. Cut out words from dictionary and colored with antique linen Distress Ink. Added vintage image. Used piece of torn tissue paper that was sprayed yellow and stamped with gesso. Colored edges with copper metallic pen and adhered to bottom of house. Final house done.
I like my set of fairy houses, hope my partner will also.
