ATC Inspired by Tim's 2010 Day 8 Tag

This ATC used several of the techniques shown by Tim Holtz in his 2010 Day 8 tag (12 Tags of Christmas). In this tag, Tim shows how to use the part of the mask that is left when you remove the silhouette mask of your choice.
I made a bird mask with a plain mask sheet and a bird die cut. This is the part of the mask that was around the bird. Press it on to your card.
Use masking tape to hold down the edges and to cover the part of the card that is beyond the mask.
Use blending tool with Distress Inks to color inside the mask.
Choose images and black Archival Ink to stamp inside the mask, make sure to press stamps firmly inside the mask.
Next, place the silhouette mask over the image and use blending tool to add Distress Inks to color the background. Later I went back and inked in color where the branch part of the mask is.
With mask in place, stamp flourishes with black Archival Ink over the background.
Cut grunge board with the townscape on the edge die (for my ATC I only need 3 houses: 2-1/2" across). Painted surface with acrylic paints, let dry.
Sand off edges and parts of the surface.
Used frosted lace Stickles to add snow to roofs and windows. Bent wire and glued behind two of the houses.
Glued houses to ATC, wrote word with Dymo maker, glued on some musical notes.
