ATC based on Tim's Feb 2012 Tag

Tim Holtz is doing his 12 tags over the course of the year, instead of all in Dec this year. He started the first tag this month. My ATC uses a couple of the techniques that Tim uses in his tag.
Used white acrylic paint to stamp on an image over Manila cards stock and let dry (clean acrylic paint of stamp right away).
Used variety of pink & red Distress Inks and a blending tool to coat card stock.
Lightly misted a paper towel with water and wiped ink off of the acrylic paint.
Misted tag with water, to blend and activate the Distress Ink colors. Then heat set to stop blending.
Used distress tool to roughen edges and color with aged mahogany Distress Ink.
Cut a piece of cardboard and a vintage image of a couple with a heart die cut. Stamped the word "cherish" on the vintage image heart and colored the edges with aged mahogany Distress Ink. Pleated  tissue tape around the cardboard heart to make a ruffle.
I love this ruffled heart. It would look great with a large pink or red rhinestone in the center or a decorative metal heart charm, or a vintage photo of different sizes (like the one I stamped on above).
Die cut out vintage lace from white core paper. Colored edges with aged mahogany Distress Ink and adhered to bottom edge of ATC.
Adhered a silver "love" charm and the ruffled heart with vintage image.
This was fun. So glad not to have to wait until December for Tim's tag inspirations.
