Book Study - Machine Sewing

We are studying Bernie Berlin's book "Artist Trading Card Workshop" on NGS group. This week is the section on "Machine Sewing". It is very easy, use a sewing machine to add stitches to your ATC. Your ATC can be paper or fabric. You can choose straight stitching or zig-zag or fancy embroidery stitching depending on your machine. There a lots of fabulous photos of ATCs using fabric stitching in Bernie's book.
For my ATC, started with some paper that was in the bottom of my spray box, cut to ATC size. Stamped on some swirls with brown chalk ink, stamped on letters with brown StazOn ink and the saying with black VersaFine ink. Used the brown chalk to color the edges of the ATC and the paper with butterfly image.
Adhered paper to ATC back with double stick tape. Choose some variegated brown thread and a feathery embroidery stitch to embellish my ATC. Fun!
Recomend using old needles with paper, as the paper will dull the needles anyway.
