The theme on
Mixed Media Monday for this week is stars. As I was thinking about stars, I remembered I wanted to make myself a book filled with Bible verses and favorite hymns and had already purchased a
book kit a while ago. Decided this would get me started. Picked one of the purple pages I sprayed earlier today. Stamped swirls on with light and dark purple Distress inks. Stamped two different star stamps with gold Encore ink. Used Divine Gold embossing powder on the stars around the edges and heat set.

Cut out and adhered a vintage image and wrote out an appropriate Bible verse.

Glad to have started on my book.
