May QOTM

I decided to make something Oriental and simple for the May Quote of the Month on ccswaps. I started with some fabulous shiny white on white textured card stock, cut it to be 3-1/4" x 8-1/4". Stamped the branches and colored the edges of the card stock with brown StaZon ink. Stamped flowers with pink dye ink.

I printed this month's quote "Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment." by Buddha on a vintage photo. I sponged the same pink dye ink over the dress and parts of the background. Inked the edges with both the pink dye ink and the brown StaZon ink. Added a dark brown ribbon that is pulled through an Oriental coin. The edges of the pink card stock is also colored with the brown StaZon ink.
