The third Background Noise Challenge by Trish B is Paint Scraping. You can read the directions on her
blog. I gave this challenge a try, even though I have a limited number of acrylic paint colors. At first, I didn't like them, worried that I over worked them and left them to dry. Now I can see that they will be fun backgrounds to play with. I will post them to my Art journal when I have more time. These photos look better if you click on them to enlarge the image : )
Looks like you had fun with these Carol, I have started some too will have to finish lol
ReplyDeleteWhats not to like about these backgrounds! I love em! They will be great for backgrounds for atcs or collages or even little beauties - hey the LEAF themed one!! hint hint - wink wink....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Did you use some metallic colors?
ReplyDeleteYes, I used metallic colors, I have gold & silver, and I like the added glitz! I wrote notes on the paper underneath, so will remember what I did when I put them in my journal.
ReplyDeleteAs for the leaf little beauties, it will depend on how long before the deadline is. LOL
These are lovely... and the metallic paint was a GREAT idea. I love glitz, but have no metallic paints (boo-hoo). I think I'll have to add them to my ever-growing, never-ending wish list!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
BTW... could you tell me how to get the pic added when you post a comment? I've been meaning to ask someone every time my comment comes up with no pic, but keep forgetting. Thanks! :)
