G is for Glowing Pastels/Chalk


 This technique if the same as the Chalkboard technique with one additional step. This is another technique found in an old Technique Junkie Newsletter.
Stamp in image on dark card stock with white pigment ink.



Apply colors of chalk/pastels to the stamped image as desired. Then use a soft brush to remove the excess chalk.
The instructions were to then cover the entire image with while Pearl Ex, wipe off excess and then use a fixative to set the Pearl Ex. I don't have white Pearl Ex, but do have white Perfect Pearls (which is similar to Pearl Ex, that has a fixative built into it).
Here's my finished piece, it 's hard to see the glimmer/glow in this photo, but it is there.
