I am giving away this mini-canvas.
To have a chance to win this piece of art, leave a comment on this post before Feb 15, 2010 along with a way for me to contact you online. There will be a random drawing to determine the winner on Feb 15, 2010 and I will contact you then about sending the canvas to you. Hope you have fun visiting all the participants!
If you're curious, here is how I created this piece. I took the canvas I stenciled earlier and added torn & sprayed dictionary with matte gel along with a cut out vintage image and some wings I had previously made by inking wing stamps with StazOn ink, lay down two layers of Fantasy Film on top of inked stamp, heat with an iron, then trimming the image.
To add to the background, stamped some words directly on the canvas with black StazOn ink.
Sprayed some perfect pearls over large black fabric flower. Added cut out white letters to a painted acrylic background and topped with a plastic dome. Adhered colored ribbon across the canvas, then added the lettered beads to complete the canvas.
